  • @BoureeMusique - Dear Emily, The kitchen tile was finished on Friday so Saturday we moved the refrigerator into the kitchen. Sunday I moved the washer and dryer back into the kitchen. Monday I cleaned out one whole cabinet, tossing most of the food (in boxes. I kept the canned goods). (Joel had THREE Cream of Wheat boxes, two unopened, with expiration dates going back to 2004!) Now I have to get some shelf paper and begin going through the six boxes of kitchen stuff Mike moved into the house. I wanted to get a lot more accomplished, but it was hot and I got tired quickly. I'm up to season 3 of "The Wire" and I've started watching Season One of the 1960 series "The Untouchables."

  • It sounds like you've been hella-busy, in a good way. I always feel very accomplished when I get a space in my house clean and functional again. My brother just got Netflix and has been watching Weeds and some other series that you can stream and watch instantly. My queue is piling up, but I must devote time to schoolwork and then reading for pleasure. The time will come when I am not in school anymore Maybe.
