Available for the first time on Xanga, the Number Two rated video on my YouTube Channel, "Clowns" is 6 minutes and 23 seconds long, and is merely a series of images of clowns, both painted and photographed, gained from websearches back in 2006 when I created my "website in a weekend", also called "Clowns".set to music. Among the tunes represented are calliope type circus themes and songs about clowns, like Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown." The video was uploaded to YouTube June 21, 2006, and has been viewed about 25,000 times and commented 33 times. Some of my readers have already seen this video when I first uploaded it to YouTube in 2006 and first announced the Clowns website here on the blog.
The website as with all my efforts, is well researched and pretty to look at. It attempts to give a history of clowns, includes a page highlighting clown art, with links to artistic clown sites on the internet, and of course being an AllThingsMike site, has a section containing some of my composite art, themed to clowns, of course. Besides the nine high quality "Clowns" themed composites onsite, I created two more in February when I updated the site for 2008. They are featured below and, since they are composites, are on my "Xanga Photo Section" as well.

Clowns are supposed to be funny, but some people think they are out to eat them.
This was already shown on the blog once and is on the website, but it's got me as a clown, what could be more fitting for April Fool's Day.
As usual, you can click on the video to get to the video page. I always love it when you click a five star rating if you like the video, and you can leave comments here for the entry, and on the video itself. You can't "recommend" the video itself yet (but Xanga assures me they are working on the problem) However you can certainly recommend this post if you think others on Xanga will like to spend 6:23 of their April Fool's holiday watching a video about funny, scary clowns. (This recommend thing works. So far, I've only had the Xangapedia "recommended" and it got on the top five of Xanga!)

BOY, do I HATE clowns!
And yes, it's the combined fault of Stephen King and Tim Curry and watching such stuff when I was under 10 years old.
RYC about working for you - no, I don't know a thing about wiring, but I'd love to learn. How long would it take to get trained on site (if such a thing is possible), and how well do you pay.

I really detest friends lock and private blogs. I feel that if somebody thinks they can go to your site, read your blog and leave a strongly critical comment, you should be able to have the liberty of visiting their blog and doing the same. When people hide behind their friends lock, all it really does is get me upset at them.
"Wow, that entry sucked, I can't believe you would say those types of things about McCartney. You obviously are a horrible person and are going to burn in hell because you are judging people. You obviously know nothing about the divorce case and think you can just slap some stuff together and make people think you are smart. In the end, it only makes you look stupid. I can't believe this got featured, this is the dumbest blog I have ever read. McCartney is more of a man than you will ever be, I'm never reading your site again."
All I have to do is go to their site and tell them it is satire and that they completely missed the point but NO!!!!!!!!! they have friend's lock because they are too high and mighty (read:chicken) to actually let people develope retorts to their oh-so-genius comments.
That wasn't an exact quote from any of my comments, but that was the basic idea expressed through a commulative sample. Many people did tell me I was going to hell.
Anyways, interesting clow video, admittedly, I only watched about half of it, and then skipped around the rest just to see if there was going to be anything other than picture of clowns and wacky music, but it really was interesting.

I hope you do not scare people again with your clowns
I hate Clowns! It has a lot to do with Tim Curry and Stephen King's "It". Both the book and the movie made me hate Clowns. Oh and drain grates. "shudder"
You'd enjoy Octopussy, the 1983 Bond movie where James Bond actually dresses as a clown to defuse a bomb in a circus
