A Day At The Fair
On Saturday, Jim and I got in the convertible and went to the Orange County Fair. I just uploaded 96 photos, with rather skimpy captions. (i.e. Cows, More Cows, Still More Cows.) but it is new photography. I tried to make this “County Fair” in the middle of the O.C., look like your “garden variety” County Fair. However, it’s “right down the street” almost literally, from Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. I go to the L.A. County Fair every year, and going there, as I have mentioned in an earlier post, is rather like going to Disneyland. The “layout” is the same year after year. The same exhibits are displayed, and there is no “variety”. O.C. is smaller, but it is still a “city variety” County Fair with aspirations to be in the country. We do have animals, and the above composite shows two of them, alongside the largest pumpkins in the O.C. The Webshots Gallery is Here, and the Folder is (natch) called “Orange County Fair”.
