One last post for today, and then I’m off the puter for a while. Today was fun. Spent some of the day just websurfing. I’ve found out where all those “personal websites” went to. A lot of credit should go to the folks who created Xanga the Community for providing a place where, free or pay, the community of folks is what matters most. As it should..
I found out how to install an mp3 file where you, the viewer, can control whether or not you want to hear the music, how loud, etc. And the pick is rather good, too, since this is the tune I always ask Glenn to play at the Renaissance Faire. It’s called Port Lairge/St. Anne’s Reel, by Glenn Morgan, and is on the CD, “A Following Wind”. I provide a link to Glenn’s website below the player. (The website isn’t finished yet, but does have a brief bio and links to the CDs available.) The little player should be over in the column under my links above the “flooby chatterbox”. It should have a slider bar to adjust the music volume, and an “off” button to turn it off. That is, if I did the coding right, which sometimes works on my machine but doesn’t when I check my pages on Explorer 6 at work. That’s when I usually know “exactly” how the public sees my pages.
So, th-th-that’s all folks, unless the insomnia comes back tonight, and I feel like “tweaking” this new Xanga website anymore. Boy, that sure does sound deja-vu-ish, for some reason. Can I be repeating myself so soon?
