ZOO TRIP (Los Angeles Zoo at Griffith Park) →

If everything works out as planned, these six photos should “rotate” as the “profile pic” every time someone hits on the site. I am following “directions” Xanga has provided to see if this works, and it better work soon, because it’s 9:30am already, a beautiful day, and I’m soon on my way to Griffith Park and the Los Angeles Zoo to take some more photographs. (Really have to tackle some finances today, as well, and times’ a wastin. NOTE: Everything “ISN’T going to work as planned because the “Instructions” do not make any sense. Xanga tells me to go to a “profile editor” and find buttons that aren’t there, to enter information that doesn’t exist. That’s the trouble with “following directions” when they are wrong. I go from screen to screen trying to “find” what they are “directing me to do” but since it doesn’t exist, then I can’t “find” what they want me to find. Oh well, not to get upset over these petty quibbles. I wish one of these blog sites would just let me find where the HTML editor is, and then let me “tweak” the columns and “do my own thing” like on my regular webpages. Blogger was better in this regard than Xanga, but they don’t have the “comments” feature. Xanga isn’t the only one of these “new-wave blogger communities” either. I found a couple more last night. But how many blogs can one person manage. I only want to “direct” people to AllThingsMike and ElectricPoetry with these endeavors. That’s where all the “content” is anyway! Got to get out of the house, into my scratched up Eclipse, put the top down, and get on the highway. (Just saw “Easy Rider” again last night for the first time in who knows how many years, and it makes me want a bike again. But motorcycles cost many more bux than they did back when I was riding in the late eighties.) I’ll try to figure out if I can “rotate” these new profile pix later in the day, after the photography expedition. I spent all morning “making” the images, it would be a shame if I can’t figure out how to “use” them.
