I will forgive myself for the "mad rush" to keep posting in this, the newest endeavor from AllThingsMike. I was "just visiting" a featured site on the Xanga homepage, which belonged to a "fellow photographer" named Jill Lambing who was lamenting that the "pumpkin" I talked about in one of my earlier posts causes any photos uploaded rather than pointed to by the service to "disappear" when the site "reverts" from premium to free service. Just makes me determined that even though I don't have the bux right now, I will sign up for a year of this service. I can see that I enjoy looking at the other "XangaBlogs", I have posted comments at a couple more sites, and I have joined my first BlogRing, which I sort of guess is like a Webring, although I joined countless Webrings (now a Yahoo Service) and never got a lot of hits from them. I liked the ease with which I "joined" the Photography Blogring at Xanga. So heres a couple of examples of my photography: (And these will be pointed to my own server so they doesn't disappear.) In honor of my new "membership" in the "Photography Blogring" at Xanga. (Gee, this is fun.....so far.....of course I'm still on the puter and it's almost noon. Did breakfast, but I'm not spending money or travelling at almost $2.50 a gallon, so there are tradeoffs to be made in any decision. I'm not a "father" or I'd be celebrating Father's Day, I suppose.)

These aren't really "photographs" per se. Each image was taken from my "Nantucket Holiday Island" video made in 1999 after my travels there. The Nantucket Island website is one of the earliest of my "webendeavors". The video is a ninety minute "travelogue" mastered on Super VHS from original digital tapes. The images above were "captures" from the digital tape taken with my latest video editing software, Pinnacle Studio AV/DV. I look forward to "interfacing" with some of the photographers on Xanga now that my Xanga blog is "two days old". (I set it up on Memorial Day but didn't do anything with it until this weekend, and I am really impressed so far with the results.)

So listen closely as well as make a slow-moving action to the
renowned opera tunes as long as feasible.
