  • My Shortest Entry Ever On Xanga

I’ve written 27 comments since Monday and I’ve received a grand total of 6 comments this week!

That’s gotta be a record low.

Now I know why people write “It’s quiet on Xanga”.

Nobody’s coming over here lately, that’s for sure.

  • Hi Michael!  Yes, I’ve noticed it’s quiet on here lately, too, whenever I am actually able to be on here myself.   Just wanted to stop by now and say Hi!!   Hope you’re doing great over there! (((Hugs)))

  • I’ve been lazy, I admit. But also busy. Hence my lack of posting.

  • Yeah, too many days like that for the past year for me anyway. *shrugs*

  • Hiya Michael!

I haven’t been around to my own blog much of late, much less those of my friends. Perhaps once this weekend passes, I shall have a return of that elusive gem known as “free time.”
    :fun:

    BE blessed!
    Steve :sunny:

  • Somedays are like that I suppose…I know it can be discouraging though.  I have had times when all my subscribers are really busy with jobs etc. all at once, strange how that works really.

I have just recently got back from Michigan (where I had no internet access whatsoever….)

I am sure you will get more comments again soon…:)

    Alisha :spinning:

  • Yah, traffic always goes down in September (every year now, for 7 years in a row!).

    I enjoy your blog!

  • Well looka that, you’ve now more than doubled your comments for the week, you ol squeeky wheel you.

  • Iknow…….. I guess you gotta give to receive(I haven’t been commenting as much)

I’m a comment whore and I’m not ashamed to admit it and I get emotionally involved with people’s story, and I’m not ashamed to admit it, so for me, I guess, I take it personally when someone doesn’t stop to say hi, ONCE in a WHILE (like you DO) I’m not saying they have to comment daily but dang, if you sub and you’re reading, once ina blue moon it’s just courteous to give a shout out to say hey, i’m here, i read, blah blah blah.

    so HEY
I’m here and I read!!!!!!!!!!! :lookaround:

  • I dropped by but was too shy to read much less comment on your piece about yoursexual history..which I admit makes me seem anything but sophisticated…and i bet its really interesting too…. but thats the truth. I haven’t been getting a lot of comments either though and all I did was make a list of all the flaws I find in us humans…geeze actually I think its the net work sweeps and new shows competing with social networking….Blogging is just weird that way…

  • I always read in my subscriptions… but I’m usually too exhausted to comment much… Forgive me!

  • Sometimes I get more comments on my short entries!  Looks like you will get a lot, too!  You even got one from john!  Actually your comment-to-reply-ratio isn’t so bad.  I usually have WAAAAY more going out than coming in.  Did I miss a post?  I usually try to leave something…let me check it out in a minute.  The problem sometimes for me is that if I see your post is very long and I don’t have much time, I don’t comment right away, meaning to come back and comment at length when I can do it justice.  Oh, I see.  Well, I will tell you that I didn’t comment on the sexual history post because I just thought that – um, it wasn’t any of my business.  (blushes)

  • Hi Mike,

I’m guilty of not coming over here as often as I’d like simply because of very limited time. :( I’ve been meaning to get back to your site for the past couple of days, but in truth haven’t had as much Xanga time as I’d really like. Sorry about that! :whocares: I appreciated the comment you left on my recent post. I think it sometimes gets to the stage most of us end up with quite a few subscribers and at times find it difficult getting around to comment on their posts as regularly as we’d like. I do agree though it is a little quiet in Xangaland at the moment.

    Have a lovely weekend!

  • It may be the mandatory password change–I havn’t got it together yet. Or the number of people
homeless or moving. My daughter in law had to move in with her underage daughter and overage boyfriend. He at least has a job and house. Everyone was very upset and angry in the beginning, but it’s turned out fot the better. She has no money so the breadwinner has had a chance to
redeem himself–bring home the bacon. Yep we’re po’ white trash on the River.

Ketja  :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

  • Yes, not one visitor from the island to my last entry either. Community is as community does.

  • I’ve been having the same problem……It’s like everyone went on vacation…..you got 15 so far on this one though, that ‘aint too bad.  BTW: New flatpick friday is up. Have a happy friday,          Randy

  • Short is always sweet.

  • Ten more and you will have recieved 27 for this post alone

    take care,
    libby

  • You keep track of how many comments you give? Wow…

  • I have commented two hundred and something this week.   I got back only less than a hundred.  On the other blog I commented 50 and only got back 15 in a little over a week.   I gained footprints but no comments.   Weird.  I do my bestest to comment but there are times I cant.   I have a full life.

  • I’m behind on my reading of your entries.. I almost feel lost. LoL. Actually I haven’t been on Xanga in a while, and I missed it. Poor quiet Xanga. why are people abandoning such a useful site?

  • p.s- I like your picture.. I don’t know when you changed it.. but like I said, its been a while since I’ve been on. It looks nice! :goodjob:

  • It’s amazing to pay a quick visit this web site and reading the views
of all friends on the topic of this piece of writing, while
I am also keen of getting know-how.
