A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM WHENWORDSCOLLIDE

    Dear Readers,

Once someone actually emailed me that the reason they didn’t leave me any comments was because they felt intimidated by the “quality” of the comments I received. I must admit, I have a lot of well read and well informed readers.

I get lots of hits. I check my Fishcan and Footprints religiously. I’ve been on the main “starred” page of Xanga with two of my last three entries. My video, “Star Spangled Dreams” is currently in the #1 Spot on the Starred Videos page. (And thanks to everyone who helped put it there!) I’ve been getting more and more hits from the front pages, but not too many comments from those visitors.

If you are one of those who visits and doesn’t comment for one reason or another, you might be interested in this latest script I installed. When you hit “comments” on one of my entries (Only on the weblog, not the videos or photos) below the comment box are two “circles”, the default is “public”. If you’d like to leave me a comment nobody except I can see, then click

Private (only baldmike2004 can see your comment)

I thought this was pretty neat. Now back to our regular programming.
