  • Hey, thanks for the wishes, one down, one to go on the Xmas's. Work tomorrow yet, blah. Retail sucks, although the grocery is better than, say, Walmart, I still get REALLY tired of Christmas, REALLY fast. And it doesnt help when your broke and you cant even get your kid decent pressents. Kinda goes beyond 'the holliday blues', into the relm of 'please just shoot me'. There's just nothing like feeling embarased by the presents you got your kid, vs the ones your other family members got their kids. It shouldnt be that way, its the thought that counts right? But thats just not the way it goes here in the good ol' USA. And being ashamed of the lack of masses of presents under the tree for your kid just kinda kills the Holliday Joy, ya know? Anyway, always good to hear from you, even if I dont always get over here to see whats up. Keep up the great work! And I hope you get a post in on the new Cafe, I want to after this insanity is over and Im able to think strait again. Happy Hollidays.

  • As I said on my blog, special thanks to you for your special wishes to me this season. I watched your video, and I really liked it, actually. The cinematography is beautiful and skillful. The music made me giggle at first; it reminded me of videos from the 80s, but your selection was really good and I remembered why I liked those videos so much. It was part nostalgia, part realization that you hit some of the things that make that sort of thing "classic," timeless. Peace, Mike!

  • I love the ocean!  Very peaceful yet powerful.  ryc thanks for your thoughtful take on my post.  As I was writing it I thought it sounded sort of catholic.  I guess I call'em like I see'em.  I am not catholic but you are right it is easy to see how Mary could be so revered.  Funny, none of my catholic readers really hit on that idea though.  Hope you had a great Christmas!
