    Internet Island Topic Post #13.00



    The latest Internet Island Topic Post is NUMBER 13. Last week the calendar rolled past the date 06/06/06. So in honor of numerology and luck, both good and bad, this week's topic will revolve around luck. I would feel real lucky if I got more than the usual 20 or so responses to this topic post. Even though I'm not blogging too often lately due to an increased work schedule and weekend outings, I do read and comment on each Internet Island topic entry. Last week we only got 15 entries. I'd like each active member to visit two or three Island sites whom you haven't seen participating, and let them know you're visiting from the Island and there is a new topic post up waiting for entries!


     REMEMBER to check the header at the top of my blog regularly for new participants, and please visit them and  comment. I have a feeling that there are a lot of Islanders who still don't "know" each other.

The purpose of Internet Island Topic Posts is to help get the members of the Internet Island Blogring to exchange comments and get to know each other.     Luck, Both Good and Bad


    13.01 Does Friday the 13th, the turning of the calendar to 06/06/06, or any other event or time frame seem to change your luck? Are you superstitious? Write about the worst luck you ever experienced.


    13.02 On the flip side, have you ever gained exceptional luck? Are you a "lucky" person? Do you ever worry about anything because you don't need to? Write a blog about your good luck, either one instance, or throughout your life.


    13.03 What have you done recently, or in the past, to stem a flow of bad luck, and turn the tide, or on the flip side, what terrible thing has happened to change your good luck to bad?

  • i will tell you my thoughts on some superstitions... they are silly. like the one where you break a mirror and get 7 years bad luck. would you have broken the mirror to begin with if you had good luck?

  • Oh my stars, you might be just the internet addict we've been looking for. Our former host has abandoned us here on this cold blue planet (we thought he was the worlds biggest web freak, but you are easily up to the challenge) and gone on to greater things such as video cricket and pork flavored ice cream in heaven and we are in the unfortunate position of needing a new sponsor/host/patsy to provide us the comfort and luxury we have come to be so fond of here on Earth. Do you have any cats? Well even if you don't I'm sure you have many cat connections. We will dance for our supper and let you scratch our belly if you would take us in. We promise not to interfere with your colliding words and all things, Mike.

    It was a delight to hear from you, thanks for the comments, I always appreciate hearing from you cause I know how busy you are with a variety of projects. It’s nice to have a special friend like Liz and to know that she does think a lot of you, I know that just be reading how you both communicate with each other. I miss her and seeing her regular posts terribly, but know she has gone through a trying time with her leg. For a diabetic healing is especially an extra challenge, my sister being one and can take awhile and requires much patience. I still think of her when I blog and of course that cause me to think of you, you both are very nice together yet your both very staunchly independent people…what’s nice is you both understand/appreciate  that and each other. Those friendships don’t come every day.
     
    I wish you would have been around for the BBQ would have been a treat to have you.  I’ll do my best to blog while I’m in spain but I’m thinking I’ll probably will only be able to put up pictures when I get back home.

RYC: No, I do change my heder and profile pic frequently because I am on here so much I get bored, plus I have insomnia and it's something to do during that time. You were just like Jennie. No B's since 7th grade and she would cry if she got one. She was unhappy with the a- but she would have been embarassed if said anything.
