  Internet Island Topic Post 10.00

  This is the 10th Internet Island Topic Post.   As has been usual for the past few posts, I give you a selection of topics from which to choose. Since it's my birthday on May 1, and this topic post is going to encompass my birthday, I'd like to see my "Islanders" give me a present. Throughout the "history" of the Internet Island, which was "founded" in November of 2005, the amount of topic entries shrinks even as the amount of Islanders grows. What I want for my birthday is to see most of the members of the Island post a topic entry this time out. I think these topics are good ones, and there should be something for everyone. Visit other Islanders who haven't posted. Let's get the word out and let's all participate!

The purpose of Internet Island Topic Posts is to help get the members of the Internet Island Blogring to exchange comments and get to know each other.   10.01: "Life is a Journey." It's often been said that life is a journey. What's yours? Where have you been? Where have you lived? You can write about or show us, through photos, your geographical journey, or you can tell us about your educational or spiritual journey, so far, through your life.

  10.02: "Birthday Memories." Just because it's my birthday on May 1, I'd like to read about your favorite birthday memory or memories. Was it when you were a kid? Did you have a large memorable party? Your quinceanera or bar mitzfah? Was your 21st the best birthday in your life? Your 30th, 40th. 50th? Do you gauge your life by your birthdays?

  10.03: "Winning and Losing." At one time or another, we all win, and we all lose something. Have you ever won anything? This could be literally or figuratively. You could think of having a child or children "winning" a great gift. You could think that having a beloved relative pass on as "losing" someone. Open your imagination, what is your greatest "winning" or "losing" situation. A softball game you helped to make a score for your team. A large cashout in a casino. You dropped your wedding ring down the sink. You totalled your favorite car.

  10.04: "Blog your Pet." Most of us have favorite pet stories. I seem to be reading them all the time in different blogs. What is your experience with your pet, or a favored pet in your past life.
