  • MikeVideo "Arbitrimage Dreams" available online NOW

LATEST "MIKEVIDEO" STREAMING BELOW IN REALTIME ON YOUR COMPUTER!!

One of the sections on my website, AllThingsMike, is the MikeVideo section, which charts my video work throughout the years. I recently blogged about the History of MikeVideo. I announced the "new" MikeVideo "Arbitrimage Dreams" last February or March on my blog. After the success of "Renaissance Day", which streamed over my website on my blog in May, I thought I'd never be able to stream another video over my blog because of the price. Well, as long as it lasts, I have set up a free account on a website called YouTube. This website is living proof of my saying that "we will all have our own television stations on the internet". My video is below. Hit the little "play" button and you can watch the whole thing. It's about 10 minutes long. I just can't believe this. Here is my "Christmas Present" to anyone that "drops by" while it can still be accessed. Below the video is a link, and I'm uploading some other of my work today as long as I can. This might even goad me to finish my latest, called "Doo Dah" with footage of the DooDah parade. "Arbitrimage Dreams" is short for "Arbitrary Image" dreams. Think of this video as my "moving photography". A lot of the images you have seen in PhotoPosts right here on this blog are in the video. I just couldn't wait for tomorrow. I don't like the "arbitrary" way in which I couldn't "pick" my image for the thumbnail. This video is streaming from YouTube. If you have video you'd like to present on the internet, by all means check them out.

Three other videos, the 2004 "Beach Dreams" and "Painted Desert Dreams", and the 2003 "Elvismovies", an assemblage of Elvis musical numbers edited together,  can be accessed from the link. There are even comments. I'm in video heaven right now, and can share my work with the world. This is my second entry today, but I just had to let people know about this. I've already gotten over 25 hits on "Arbitrimage Dreams". Could this be the internet endeavor that makes me famous? I'm "shamelessly" promoting the YouTube service and my online videos today, so many apologies for my exuberance. I've been searching for a service like this. I can't yet upload the 23 minute "Renaissance Day". I've got it down to 83 MB. Maybe I've exceeded their upload limit for the day. I've been busy.  MFN (MikeVideo) 12/26/2005

The photojam hosts also for 90 days. You basically upload the folder, and choose a song..its so easy. I wish they had a picture editor in there as well... Its so easy but does turn out  impressive. Thanks for stopping by..I will check this out !

  • For some reason I could not get past the intro, basically it wouls just stop,I'll get my son to see if I need to plug something in to see it, but what I did see was cool. Peace Mia Lucia

Your resolution is almost the same as yours.  I've been trying to make a demo reel of 3D animation.  I'd like to get into the Hollywood movie scene too.  :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat: Let me know if you have good tips.

  • Oooops.  In the above message change "yours" to "mine".

Your video is fascinating.  How did you composite the files?  Maybe, Aftereffects?

  • OK.  I'm trying to upload videos.  How long did it take to upload yours?  Mine is taking forever?

  • Now, I've got a tiny video uploaded.  Just about 3MB.  How do you insert it into a post.  Do you need to know some HTML?

  • I wish for you moments of deep introspection where the silence is a friend unlike any you've ever known and it wraps you snugly and you feel like you could stay there forever.

  • Hi, I am so glad I came by to see this beautiful movie of yours...what a treat...those fish and birds...the way you use your camera..it is wonderful...all of it...a wonderful gathering of all kinds of views and beauty...I enjoyed it..thank you for sharing this....Lee

  • I don't see the link to access the others...

  • WISH i had the know how to make videos OR had the Cheech wizard film i made in high school:sunny:  BTW, know any good places to convert Super 8 to DVD???

  • Hi Mike. I enjoyed your Elvis Pastiche. You took all the good parts of all the movies. Almost made me want to watch the entire movies, but I know better. :)

    Wild stuff, man.

And....shades of Jerry Lee in that one sequence............ That was an evil cut you did there partner.

  • I started watching the video, but when I saw it was 9 minutes long, I had to stop.  What I saw was beautiful!!  Will be back tonight when I have time to look at them ALL.  Can't wait!!

RYC:  If you look at the last picture of me, you will see that I DO have my bathing suit on---but it is worn on top of my sweats!  There are two reasons for this.  One is that I would NEVER put a pic of me in my bathing suit now up on my blog for all the world to see my fat body. and the second is that it was about 10 degrees out the day that picture was taken---and I still ended up getting a cold.  lol

  • :fun:Well...I just finished watching them all..and I loved them...the Ruby keeler dancing..what a treat...the 'dream' videos..that sun on the water..and the desert..beautiful..loved that one..and Elvis..always try to catch some of his birthday..then the dance ..that was great stop forward and back footage there..they were all terrific..I hope more people come to watch...it was difficult to leave comments there with log in and passwords..so I came here to comment..I think you do a great job with that camera..must be hard work too..such interesting images...in that desert..hats off to you..thanks for sharing...Lee:goodjob:

What a shiny fun thing to share with us this afternoon. I especially liked the rhino appearance. The carousel was scary, though.

  • Was it nine minutes long? It didn't seem so. I love the way you threw Liz Taylor in unexpectedly. I think that was dreamy.Nice music too.

    Peace and Love:)

RYC: I heard ABC sold Monday Night Football to one of the ESPN's. That was on the night I heard John Lennon had been shot.
