  • Check out the New Index Feature on When Words Collide:


    Over to the left, in the “custom module” under the profile information, and above my list of subscriptions to other excellent Xanga blogs, are my “links” to pertinent areas of the AllThingsMike universe. Back when I wrote my list of blogging questions, I got lots of people respond who never look for website links on a blog. My blog is only a “portal” to my website, and there are “image links” to each major section on my website in the “custom module” called “The AllThingsMike Universe.”

    AllThingsMike, ElectricPoetry, and The Universal Blog are the major building blocks to the site. In the module, under these image links, are the links for the Jukebox This Week feature, which always lists the music playing on the blog, and contains links to the streams where I get the music.

     

    Next is the list of Internet Island Topic Posts, so that members of the Internet Island blogring can instantly get to an “Island” post when on my blog. Under this section is a list of links to other sections of my “Allthingsmike Universe.”

     

    The newest section is below this. It is the Xanga: Interesting Posts from the Past on WhenWordsCollide section of links, and is now quite a comprehensive index to this blog. I have always had a “greatest hits” section of links, which took readers to blog entries I felt were exceptional or interesting. Now I have pretty much indexed all of the blog in this section of links.

     

    The index contains links to a variety of WhenWordsCollide entries, and is separated into easy sections, for rapid connections to any of a number of articles and posts that have been featured on WhenWordsCollide. PhotoPosts, ElectricPoetry Posts, Serialized Novels and Reminiscences, Poetry Presentations, News and Opinion and miscellaneous articles are given their own sections, so you can easily find any chapter or topic entry, including those for Socrate’s Cafe and Featured Grownups rings.

     

    So if you are searching for a specific entry, or want to check out the latest Poetry or Photo posts, they are listed in this Index by date, so you can always get to a specific section of WhenWordsCollide rather quickly.

     

    Please note that the Section with Serialized Novels and Reminiscences contains the individual chapters for all the serials I have posted or are currently posting on the blog, so nobody will ever “miss” a chapter, and can instantly “catch up” with the current entry when it appears.
