Fourth of July Celebration 2004
This is a composited image I made in 2002 for "The Betty Boop Pages" section of AllThingsMike. It is located on the 4th of July Feature Page. I have no plans as yet for the Holiday Weekend. I was thinking of taking a day trip to Catalina, but need to save rather than spend money, and the bank account needs the bux in there for rent. Oh, well. I do need to get back to reading Clinton's book. And I still have plans for the Pomes.com website parody, of which I have a couple of pages online, including the "list" of poetry "books" Pomes. com has sold, but I won't put links up until I erase all the links from the parody back to the "real" poems.com site. The world is happening in the other room,
Far away from my emotional center.
I hear the sounds, and feel the air,
I know what happens, and really, I care.
Events wll happen no matter what I think,
And life goes on in the process.
I am the chronicler of my existence, I've said this before,
I make sense of the nonsense I witness every day.
But nothing matters except the things I want to share,
With my absent lovers, with the connections to my universal mind.
With you, whoever you are,
We are divorced from the world in the other room,
Listening to our inner world, the one which connects us.
The thread of rationality making sense of unfettered reality.
The fireworks were for two years ago, when I could gaze into the
unforseen future. But of course I was gazng without my glasses on.
The fireworks were for when I thought finding my other half was easy,
But I neglected to read the roadsigns in my elation at being on the
open road of interactivity.
I am less sure of myself now.
So let the fireworks ignite, and the celebration begin without me.
I am waiting for you, dear. The fireworks will happen for us both at
the same time.
There is a moment when we all know that things are right. For some of
us, this moment has not happened yet.
But as before, when a lad, when I could "feel all the feelings
without living all the life," I feel like I have the answer, and she
is close, if not in proximity, then in spirit.
You will read me, you will understand.
The world is happening in the other room, and I don't want to join
it,
Until I know for sure I can share these events with you.
I will not see any fireworks this year, either in life or in my head.
I will wait, patiently, for the truth to make itself evident to us.
For the fireworks to fade from metaphoric memory,
And appear to us both synchronically.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for "temporary" housing that could be easily removed (the ordinance requires removal which is why i'm not sure the garage one will work) (or sold i guess) after the primary construction is completed and will make it through a snow filled winter (or two).
