  •  As this Sunday morning dawns, and before I get over to the OverTheHill2 group to “catch up” on two days of posts, go out to breakfast and read the paper to find out the terrible things that I have “missed” yesterday when creating this Blog Page and not reading any news, I wish to say a prayer for Lisa Easterling, who has been somewhat instrumental, whether she knows it or not, for inspiring me to create my latest journal pages on Xanga.

As the strains of Glenn Morgan’s hammer dulcimer music wash over me this morning, the feelings of happiness and accomplishment are welling. I didn’t drink any alcohol last night, too many “beers” during the week, so I’m staying “sober” for the weekend, and finished watching “Bubba Ho-Tep” which is one of those movies no one saw when it was released a couple years ago, and is now out on DVD. Now that I’ve got this site, it should be fairly easy to “document” the movies I am watching in the “reviews” section, as I did with Altman’s “The Company” yesterday.

Last Sunday I called my friend Jim Zabel to see if his band rehearsal was that afternoon, but it looks as if I missed the latest “performance” by a week. He had a rehearsal studio set up, but he told me the rehearsal didn’t go too well, so I probably didn’t “miss” videotaping anything. I’ve got the “bug” to go photograph something this afternoon. My camera has been “idle” for a couple of weeks. Except I did post some photos of my “analog” “poetry volumes” on my ElectricPoetry group after one of the members wondered how I was able to easily come up with older poems from the 70s and 80s to post.

A moment is a lifetime filled with wonder and passion
A lifetime is a moment in existence
We are all one, and one of the things which keep us sane is our ability to love.
I love you all, and my heart beats a ringing song.
I reach out to touch humanity, and bask in the heavenly glow of humanity’s face.
