This is the second entry today. It is almost 3pm, and I just spent the better part of the past hour writing a “movie review” for inclusion in the “reviews” section of this site. I also found that I can download the site onto my computer, as I can with Blogspot, so each thing I do here makes me feel this is a far better program than the old Blogspot, and I feel I shall be utilizing this as an “all purpose” blog instead of attempting to write different blogs for the sections of my site. If this works out, I might not need to “update the site” at all, just put a link to this site as an “update” on each of the AllThingsMike sections.
Plans. I updated “The Betty Boop Pages” last week and added two images. Two guestbook signings since then, and I “joined” a couple of Yahoo groups in order to “trumpet” the changes. I don’t know about ElectricMovies. Either the site or the blog. The idea that I can post “reviews” on this site negates the need to keep the movies blog, which hasn’t been updated since “Troy” and so now I could conceivably write my “reviews” for “Shrek 2″, “The Day After Tomorrow”, “Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban” and “The Stepford Wives” here in the reviews section. I transcribed a few poems from 1970 into the ElectricPoetry site this morning. I haven’t taken any photography in two weeks, and my financial picture is a trainwreck. Good thing I have the puter to keep me “busy” so I don’t start getting depressed about the “real world” situation. Think I’ll stop “experimenting” with this site right now. The Xanga Community is hopefully better than the Blogspot community. I left a “comment” on the blog of one of my ElectricPoetry members, and I’ll see how long before it is “answered”. I’ll try to “surf” some Xanga poetry and film sites if they have them. I like to get excited about these “internet communities.” You never know who you’ll meet. Now I’ve got another “website” to promote.

I forgot to answer your question in my other comment. The song on my blog is Nichole Nordeman’s “Every Season”. I am singing it at our church in a couple of weeks. I got the idea from Kathy, a lovely Xangan who blogs under Candlescents.
I completely agree with the post. our shop.
